When you use RunBadge we collect:

  • Your email address and name when you create an account.
  • Profile data such as username, location, and bio that you provide.
  • Race data you log manually or import from Strava.
  • Strava access tokens when you connect your account (stored securely).
  • Basic usage data to improve the service.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate and improve the RunBadge service.
  • To issue and display your race badges.
  • To sync your Strava activities when you request it.
  • To send you transactional emails (magic links, badge notifications).
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

3. Public data

Your public profile (name, badges, location, and bio) is visible to anyone with your profile link. You control what information appears via Settings.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored on Supabase (AWS infrastructure). Strava tokens are stored encrypted and only used to sync your activities.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Disconnect Strava at any time from Settings.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
